Army 10 MIler (night time version)

So Daniel ran the Army 10 Miler last Sunday night. The people in Korea started at the same time as those in Washington DC, just a 13 hour time difference. So while those in the Capital were starting their day off with a nice long run, we (well, not myself) were finishing our day off with a nice long run. Daniel has been rather congested each morning, along with the kids. He didn't have a bout with the fevers like the kids did, but he hasn't been 100% normal. He was debating on whether or not to run that night, but he opted to run it. His time was on the slow side, but he ran the entire 10 miles...unlike some of those cheaters who didn't go the full 5 miles to the turn around point...

While daddy was out huffing and puffing, the girls were monkeying around on the climbing wall in the gym. Little Man was nursing himself to sleep (then crying in pain from his ear infection, then nursing back to sleep).

Around the hour mark we headed outside to wait for daddy. We thought he should be coming in around the 1hr 20 minute mark (hoping for sooner), but that came and went. He ended up getting in around 1 hr 28 minutes (they didn't have a big timer up, so I don't know his exact time). 8 minutes slower than I expected, but still under the 90 minute mark. He wasn't super impressed with his time, but he's not complaining. He's now on the upward swing health wise, so we are thankful.
