Our first house.
We bought it in 2007, in northern NY.
It was a labor of love, slowly remodeling the place room by room. I was happy to have a mortgage off our backs when we sold the place (we were completely 100% debt free for a brief few months!), but I was sad to part with it because it held so many fond memories. I would love to buy another old house and remodel it to just my liking. There's something special about transforming your house into just what you wanted. I had high hopes for the attic, but as is life at times, we sold the place in preparation for a move (compliments of hubby's job).
