I know it's been a week since I was last on here, but it has been a very busy week.
So to re-cap last week:
We at some bibimbop while in Seoul our first few days in country:
Daniel liked to hang out in the closest at the hotel:
Happy 2nd birthday Big Man!
Sorry that you were stuck in a tiny 1 bedroom hotel room, and you didn't get to really celebrate:(
We didn't have an oven, so we couldn't bake you a cake, but you don't really like sweets any way. So instead, we cut an apple in half and put a candle and some cranberries on it. You love apples!
We have a house and are all moved in! PRAISE YAHWEH! Seriously, I was at my ropes end being in such confined space and no outlet for any of us.
We moved in yesterday, got our household goods yesterday and our temporary furniture. The furniture was supposed to be for the 2 years here, but I think the girls will end up with some Korean mats for beds within a few months, and Ikea is opening near Seoul at the end of the year, so I can get the desks I want for the girls then.
Our room mid unpacking:
The girls' room mid unpacking
The playroom upstairs mid unpacking
Daniel's room
Daniel's office, nothing unpacked
Living room mid unpacking
Kitchen mid unpacking
We have a rooftop terrace too
Happy boy
Today we played outside with some of the neighbors and our boxes.
This neighborhood is full of kids, and several are homeschooled too:) We actually met a lot of the kids and moms when we were looking at the house. It was a major selling factor for us: having so many kids around. Seems like a great community!
