Thankful I read-a-da Korean

Well, I have many things to be thankful for. And I have many things to praise my Creator for. I thought I would try to make myself blog everyday this month, even if it is just a short blob.

I am thankful that I can read 2 words in Korean!

  • I read the word rice on a sign near our house the other day. I think it was about rice harvesting...all I know is that I read  (ssal) and understood it!
  • Today, after playing at Bang Bang Town, the kids and I had a cheese pizza. Daniel did not want pizza. He went looking for kimbap in the nearby restraunts. He came back and said that he couldn't find any. As we were walking back to the car, after the girls got a waffle dessert, I saw 김밥 on a window of a restaurant. I told Daniel, "Here's kimbap."He looked inside, and sure enough they were making kimbap. They just hadn't had any in picture form on their menu display outside.
Yes! Praise Yahweh! 2 words down, only 1 million more to go. Now if only my spoken vocabulary would grow too...
