DIY Giant Paper Poms/Puffs

For Yahaira's birthday I made giant poms (or puffs or whatever they are called).

Here is a little, super easy tutorial on how to D.I.Y.

1. First get 10 sheets of tissue paper and stack them nicely on top of each other. (if you want a multi colored pom/puff, layer different color tissue paper instead of all 1 color).

2. Next, with the tissue paper placed vertically (make the rectangle tall, not long), accordion fold the paper every inch and a half or so.

3. Attach a ribbon or string around the center of the folded tissue paper. (I taped the ribbon to the middle of the front and back of the tissue paper and then taped the ribbon together just above the tissue paper to keep it tight.).

4. Cut the edges off the ends, either rounding them, or doing some other design.

5. Turn the tissue paper sideways and *carefully* separate the 10 sheets of paper, pulling them to the left and the right:

6. Once one side is puffy, turn it over and repeat the same process on the other side.

7. Repeat the ENTIRE process over for any additional poms, hang and enjoy!
