Can you save $1,478 in 52 weeks? I challenge you to try!

Here is for all you people out there who say you can't do _____(fill in the blank) because you don't have the money. If you set aside some cash every Saturday for an entire year, you will have saved plenty of CA$H MONEY baby. We have been doing this for this past year, (well, we doubled it to save for the both of us) and it's rather easy. Just say no to eating out once a week and you've got yourself covered for the most part.
Sometimes life would get busy and I would forget to move money into our designated savings account. Whenever I would remember I would just add in what I had forgot. Other times I would move a larger sum into savings and then check off the following weeks to "get" ahead on the schedule. I know there is something about being consistent and systematic about putting money into savings each week (or each payday). But if you find yourself with some extra cash one day, put it into saving right away instead of going and blowing it on something lame. Just whatever you do, DO NOT withdraw money from your savings account for the full 52 weeks!!!!  At the end of the year, you'll have money to use for a vacation, or a big purchase, or to keep in savings and add more money to.

Happy savings!
