Randomness from the past week

Last week I whipped up a backpack for Little Man. He loves cars and trucks and trains and all things boyish. How many ands can I put in a sentence?

 We went swimming after my ladies' bible study. We were going to go in the sauna afterwards, but I never checked to see if it was turned on before heading into the pool. It was not. We turned it on and got hot showers, but it still wasn't very warm by the time we were rinsed off. So, instead, we made our own steam showers and spent a good 15 minutes using up all the hot water; I'm not sure if we actually used up all the hot water. After drying off and getting dressed, the sauna was hot. Oh well, at least it was warm for the people after us.

Israella wanted to bake some cookies. She is following in her big sister's foot steps and becoming quite a little chef.

 We got to Skype with a Aunt JoJo, Grandpa and cousin Braden,

Yahaira got sick Saturday night and stayed sick all day Sunday. She is now back to her perky little self, though we are laying low today to make sure the bug is all gone. Fevers and vomit and bowels make for a miserable time no matter who you are. I'm so thankful that it has passed!
