A visit from Grandma and Grandpa

Last Week Grandma kelly and Grandpa Ed came for a visit. Here are some pictures:

We surprised them at the airport

On Friday we went to Landmark Park and got to experience farm life back in the 1800s. 

For kids who are afraid of little dogs, they sure weren't afraid of the big ol' horses:

Yahaira split some wood to make her very own shingle. She did the entire thing herself, the guy just held the tool in place while she whacked away with the mallet, and whack away she did!

Daniel's marathon was in Atlanta on Sunday, so we drove up on Saturday. The marathon was at Atlantic Station, and our hotel was near by. Saturday afternoon the kids and I went to a playground right on 17th street and State street. It was a neat little area for the kids to run around and play on.

 After the playground we went to Ikea. The girls got to play in the kid area there, and little man and I walked around the kid display area.

We had wonderful time with Grandma and Grandpa. I'm so thankful that I was able to get the playroom ceiling painted during that time too:)
