The Raw Food Challenge:
Starting tomorrow (Sunday) eat at least 1 raw meal a day for the next 7 days. That raw meal can be whatever you like: a salad (without cooked meat), a green drink, a smoothie (without pasteurized liquids), a veggie stuffed lettuce wrap, or you can get very creative like zucchini pasta with a pesto sauce. The possibilities are endless if you think "outside" the box.
There will be one lucky person who wins the movie Food Matters. This is a trailer of the movie:
So here is how you enter to win the movie:
1. Link this post to your blog and/or Facebook page telling people your favorite raw item
2. Post a comment telling me your favorite raw item (do not leave the comment as anonymous, otherwise I won't know who you are, and then you can't win if I don't have a name to announce as the winner)
3. Check back a week from Sunday to see who the winner is. The winner will be chosen randomly by pulling a name from a basket.
My favorite raw food item is spinach. You can put in almost anything. We put it in banana smoothies and make a two ingredient banana ice cream. Frozen bananas and spinach in the food processor. It kinda tastes like pistachios:)
