Ready for the sun

Yesterday we drove down to the Waterloo Outlet Stores in hopes of finding a deal on some convertible hiking pants for Daniel. We were thoroughly disappointed. There were basically no deals to be had. Seriously. We could have stayed at home, saving ourselves the 3 hour round trip drive, and paid the same price at our own mall. All was not a loss though. I did manage to find a pair of shades for me, and a pair for big sister, at a decent price. Daniel also bought a long sleeve running shirt. After that we went to Syracuse and ate some Chipotle (Daniel) and Jimmy John's (the girls) then hit Eastern Mountain Sports at the Syracuse mall. Daniel found a pair of shades for him, and the girls got to ride the carousel free 2 times. All was not a loss, but a lot of travel for very little product. At least we got to have some good conversation on the drive:)
