Heat Wave

Here is a craft that I made for our friends who just moved to Hawaii. It's a little photo album for their son, Julian. Yahaira will miss him, especially since we hung out almost every day during the last deployment. Now Cheryl has ditched me for tropical paradise...who's house am I going to just show up at and eat their food (but wash their dishes in return) on this next deployment this fall?....Watch out April and Shelley! I bet April won't mind, since she's coping with a deployment right now.
On to cute pictures of Yahaira and Israella:)
All of us girls, Daniel must feel way out numbered! At least Yahaira is having fun...not so much Israella.

Our last night getting to hang out with the Beggs. Julian, Yahaira and Z loved to play on the chair. Cheryl was spinning it until she realized that the kids get heavy quick. Then we just let them spin themselves. It was entertaining to watch.

We are experiencing a heat wave at the moment. It is in the high 80's today. I'm not complaining, but the heat sure just kicked on up here...50's on day then 80's the next:) We have enjoyed the warmth and sun. I actually had to sleep with the fan on last night because it was so warm in our bedroom.

Dad, we do get hot up here in northern New York! You should come visit...we'll see you in a few days though:)
