Growing up...and adorable too!

Here is a picture of Yahaira and one of her best friends, Christopher. Yahaira is quite the little socialite, yet she still remains shy if she doesn't initiate the interaction.


Today Yahaira helped me make some muffins-applesauce ones to be exact. She loves to cook things and is such a joy to be around! Not to mention just how adorable she is too!

Here is a picture Yahaira took Yesterday on the way home from the park. She's got the camera thing down, and she is actually able to take some rather good pictures! I guess she takes after Daddy:)

A video of Yahaira at the park yesterday. It was such a nice day out, not too cold. We packed a picnic and ate lunch up at the park. Afterwards we went to the Cider Mill for a treat. Nothing like warm sugary apple cider donuts and fresh pressed cider to finish off a fun day outdoors.

Tonight Yahaira has Master's Club. She's going to get her first patch because she has memorized her 3 verses. I'm real impressed with her. She can say Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 45:22 and Exodus 20:11 all on her own. I tell her the reference, and the first word to get her going. Praise GOD that teaching your children His Word is NOT that difficult! I never grew up memorizing Scripture, and wasn't saved until I was 19, so I was always worried that it would be so hard to teach my children about salvation and Scripture. Thank You Jesus that You make us strong when we are weak!
