Rock Climbing Camp

As I said in my last post, Yahaira went to a rock climbing day camp last week. It was at The Bloc in Tucson, AZ. She learned how to tie a figure 8 knot, how to put on a harness, how to secure the figure 8 knot to her harness, the different type of holds for rock climbing and of course plenty of rock climbing and bouldering practice. 

 Here she is bouldering in the incline. She is hugging the wall on the right in the first picture and hanging from a hold on the right in the second picture.

 While Yahaira was at camp, the little ones and I found things to do.

A fast food play place is always free and not as hot as outside.

There was a free singing-puppets puppet show at a book store

Of course there were lots of playgrounds we stopped at 

We found one with a splash pad too.
