We got a lot accomplished today. Yahaira got to spend most of the morning playing on PBS kids while I cleaned the floors. After that there was an early lunch and a messy mess in the bathtub from Israella. I guess when she wants a bath she'll find a way to make it so she can have a bath...lets just say I was thankful it was in the tub and not brought to me in her hand with streaks across the floor. So after the clean up we made our way to the antique store to look for a tall table and/or a round table. No super finds, so then it was off to the farmers' market (which was winding down when we got there...oops). We got some peas, honey and tomatoes. Then it was a stop a TJ Maxx (nothing worth buying) and the grocery store to refill the water jugs and buy some ground beef for dinner.
Once home we went out back and started to shell the peas:
We moved to the shade and a place to sit |
She's so goofy |
Monkey see, monkey do |
Even more green teeth! |
We just love to read, though it's mostly non-fiction stuff: This is a book on Glacier National Park |
Then we had some pool time fun |
All ready for dinner (and in that Madeline outfit again) |
Dinner was spaghetti with homemade meat sauce and garlic bread |
$26 worth of food |
