An eventful day

So we had another one of these:

 Can you guess what it is? Well, it was up on our vaulted ceiling, so the zoom makes the picture kind of fuzzy, but it had a red strip on it's abdomen. I killed the thing and wanted to get a good close up of it, but Daniel dropped it, and rolled it in the dust that was on top of the cupboards, so it was a big lint-ball that wasn't going to get cleaned off. The red mark was not a distinct hour glass, but it was a red line that did indent in the middle. I googled black spiders with red marks and there aren't too many out there: I found the red back but that's a black widow like one in Australia. I think it was another black widow. Daniel wasn't too sure. At least it's dead, whatever it was.

Yahaira got a new bike yesterday:) She is doing amazing riding it; not so amazing at stopping. She took a nasty spill  this morning, but is doing great!

We went to the Wiregrass Museum of Art this morning to partake in the First Saturday Family Art Day. It was free:) It was come and go as you please:) It was kid friendly:) It was child directed (here's an example and make one as you please) :)

I think it turned out super cute!
