Happy birthday to you!

My baby girl is not a baby girl any more. She is maturing into a very lovely young lady. Today we celebrate 5 wonderful years God has blessed us with. She is quite the talker. I mean seriously. She will have a full blown conversation with herself? imaginary friends? nobody? It's rather entertaining to watch.

Today we started off the day with a Sesame Street Character breakfast. It was "pricey" but totally worth it to see her so happy and lively and NOT shy:) She conga-ed with Abby Cadabby by her side, then danced with her when it was Abby's time to do the character dance (video to come). Afterwards we played at the splash pad, swam in the whirlpool, went on the lazy river, made a glitter shell, went sea kayaking (and didn't like it), swam in the ocean and played in the sand. And it's only 3:30 in the afternoon. Tonight it's dinner at the Japanese steakhouse. I'm so thankful that we are all together as a family this year to celebrate birthdays:) God is good.
