May has arrived:) We are suppose to have some warm weather today...which is much nicer than the snow on Monday. For Yahaira's date with her Daddy she wants to go walking at Thompson Park. She really enjoys her Saturday dates with Daniel:)
It is 6:40am and I am wide awake...not that I chose to be wide awake this early...it's the joys of being a parent I guess (and even more so when you're a foster parent).
So we got a phone call last night at 2:30am. At first I thought it was some partier calling again looking for whoever (happened the night before at midnight), but it was not. It was the on call caseworker seeing if we could do a respite for a 10 month old for the weekend. I figured that she had already called other people and got either no answer or "No," so we decided to accept. Of course they were at the hospital with no car seat, diapers or formula. So I went to the hospital and picked up the kiddo. I luckaly have some diapers for when the girls sleep, so the kid can fit them. I actually had a small can of formula that I got from the hospital when Israella was born as well.
Oh, back to being wide awake. The kiddo likes to cry randomly in his sleep...because I tried to feed him and he didn't want anything. So I am awake and listening to his crying every 15 minutes or so...then he falls asleep again.
At least I can get my yard sale all set up real early. Looking on the positive side because I know that come Tuesday (at the latest) it will be back to "normal".
