Adventures

Today the kids and I went on an adventure. Daniel has to fly for 6 hours tonight (starting at 8pm), so he had to stay up real late to adjust to the night schedule. Since there are 4 children in the house all under the age of 4 we all piled into the car after we were dressed and headed to the grocery store. It decided to down pour the minute I began taking the kids out of the car. So we sat in the car until the rain let up. Then Z wanted to through a fit in the parking lot because she didn't want to hold Yahaira's hand, and the down pour started up again. She lost the battle because I made her hold Yahaira's hand the entire time we were in the store. She tried another fit in the produce aisle, but we just stayed right there (with everyone staring at us) until she held Yahaira's hand again. When we finished our shopping (just some stuff to hold us over until the commissary trip tomorrow) it was only 9:20, still too early to go back home.

So we went for a drive. We drove around the back roads of Jefferson county. Some of the landscape is so BEAUTIFUL out here. It really made me want to sell our house and buy LOTS of land with hills and streams and woods. We'll go on another drive tomorrow because Daniel is flying tomorrow night too.
