Whetstone Gulf State Park

We went to Whetstone Gulf State Park on July 19th. As you can see from the photos, we had a lot of fun. The water was cold, but that didn't seem to bother the little ones. I didn't dunk because it was too cold for me, but Daniel braved the cold and went swimming with Bell. We didn't plan much for the trip, so we didn't bring any food. Needless to say, we liked the park and decided to stay and grill for lunch-dinner. I headed to the store, bought a bunch of (unhealthy) food. We ate hot dogs, chips, grapes and lots of S'mores. Yahaira and Bell liked playing in the river. Isabella really enjoyed the mini rapids. Maybe next time we'll plan ahead and bring good food, games and the right shoes (we only had sandals) so we can go hiking and fully enjoy the beautiful area.
